This policy is for solar system owners using the Helios customer app and portal. If you run an installer business on Helios Pro, read the Helios Pro privacy policy instead.
1. Introduction
Helios Solar Energy Management (“Helios”, “we”) is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Cyprus data protection law. The data controller is Helios Energy Management Solutions, Nicosia, Cyprus.
2. Data We Collect
- Account information: name, email, phone
- Solar energy data: production, consumption, grid export/import
- Installation details: location, system capacity, inverter brand
- Billing details: EAC account number, payment information
- Usage data: access logs, platform interactions
3. Purpose of Processing
We process your data for: providing solar energy monitoring services, self-consumption optimization, invoicing, technical support, and legal compliance.
4. Data Retention
Energy data is retained for the duration of your relationship with us. Raw interval readings are kept for five years and then deleted automatically. After account deletion, personal data is anonymized within 30 days. Anonymized energy data may be retained for analytical purposes.
