Every alert carries the measured values, a plain-language cause, and a repair suggestion — in English and Greek. Alerts clear themselves when the condition resolves. Works across all sources: inverter cloud APIs, Helios edge gateways, and Helios EMS controllers.
Control, where the hardware allows it.
Monitoring works everywhere. On sites fitted with a Helios smart edge gateway, installers can also curtail power, switch inverters, and manage battery modes and schedules — every command confirmed, audited, and acknowledged by the device. Control is validated brand-by-brand, starting with Huawei.
From first lead to signed proposal to service call.
Customer email, next to the system it is about.
Helios has a shared inbox for your team. Connect the Gmail or Microsoft 365 mailbox you already use with customers, and Helios files incoming messages against the matching lead, customer or service ticket — so a reply about a quote sits with the quote, and a complaint about production sits with the production data. Nobody has to forward anything.
Read-only, and only if you connect it. Helios asks Google for read access to your mailbox and nothing else — it cannot send, delete or change anything in your Gmail account. No mailbox is connected unless a member of your team connects their own, and any of them can pause or disconnect it from Settings at any time. Disconnecting revokes Helios’s access with Google immediately.
Used for the inbox, and nothing else. Messages are matched to your existing records and shown in Helios. Access tokens are encrypted at rest. We do not sell mailbox data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. If your plan includes AI reply drafting and you ask for a draft, the messages in that one thread are sent — with personal details scrubbed first — to Anthropic’s API to generate the suggestion, and to nowhere else.
Helios sends its own mail. Proposals, invoices and system alerts go out through the platform’s own email service, never through your Gmail account.
The controller that runs the site — even when the internet doesn’t.
Helios Edge EMS is an on-site controller for solar + battery installations. It dispatches the battery locally, keeps running through outages, and syncs back when connectivity returns. Commercially available today.
What it runs
- Self-consumption — continuously drives grid exchange toward zero
- Time-of-use — charge off-peak, discharge through peak, within battery limits
- Custom rules — versioned rule sets with timers, applied without restarts
- Peak shaving available on request
Engineered safety, not promised safety.
- Every command passes a clamp pipeline: state-of-charge limits → the battery’s own declared limits, re-read on every write → hardware ratings → ramp limits
- The EMS verifies the observed effect of every command — if reality diverges, it falls back to safe and stays there until an operator clears it
- It never overrides the battery management system and never auto-resets faults
- The cloud cannot send it a power command — that command type doesn’t exist in the protocol
- Deterministic by design: every decision is replayable and auditable
Compatibility
Supports CNTE battery systems and Huawei SmartLogger today. Further PV-system and battery integrations are implemented per deployment, for hardware that supports it.
